Voice Copilot (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect

- Profile picture (if using social login)
Usage Data
- Session duration and usage patterns
- Feature usage statistics
- Device and browser information
Voice Recording Data
When you record your voice, audio clips are captured and sent to our AI processing service. By default, these recordings are:
- Processed in real-time for AI analysis
- Not stored on our servers
- Deleted immediately after processing
Important: Voice recordings are sent to Google Gemini and Modulate AI for analysis. While we do not store these recordings on our servers, these third-party providers may temporarily retain inputs in accordance with their own data policies. We recommend avoiding recording sensitive personal information or confidential conversations.
Premium subscribers may opt into cloud storage, in which case voice recordings are stored securely on Cloudflare R2. See Section 4 for details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Service
- Process your subscription and payments
- Send you service-related communications
- Improve and optimize the Service
- Respond to your inquiries and support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Storage
Local Storage (Default)
By default, your conversation history and any voice recordings you save are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to enable cloud storage.
Cloud Storage (Premium Feature)
If you subscribe to a premium plan and enable cloud storage, your voice recordings are encrypted and stored securely on Cloudflare R2. Access is restricted to your authenticated account via time-limited access keys.
- Retention: Stored voice recordings are retained for as long as your premium subscription is active, or until you delete them through your account settings
- Subscription cancellation: If your premium subscription ends, stored voice recordings will be retained for a 30-day grace period, after which they will be permanently deleted
- Account deletion: All stored voice recordings are permanently deleted when you delete your account
- Access control: Only you, as the authenticated account owner, can access your stored voice recordings. Access is granted through time-limited, request-based keys. You are responsible for not sharing these access links with others
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google AI (Gemini): For AI processing of voice recordings, generating conversational feedback, and speech-to-text analysis
- Modulate AI: For advanced voice tone analysis, emotion detection, and vocal quality assessment
- Cloudflare (R2): For secure cloud storage of voice recordings (premium feature only)
- Lemon Squeezy: For payment processing and subscription management
- Vercel: For hosting and infrastructure
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information.
Google Gemini API: We access Google Gemini through the paid Gemini API. Under Google's API Terms of Service, data sent through the paid API is not used by Google to train or improve their models. Google may temporarily process your inputs (including voice recordings) to provide the service and for abuse monitoring, but does not retain them for model training purposes. Your voice recordings and conversations are not used to improve Google's AI models. We encourage you to review Google's data processing terms for full details.
Modulate AI API: We use Modulate AI's API for advanced voice tone analysis and vocal quality assessment. Voice recordings are sent to Modulate AI for processing in real-time. Modulate AI processes your voice data to provide tone, emotion, and delivery feedback. We encourage you to review Modulate AI's privacy policy for details on how they handle voice data.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Export your data
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Withdraw consent for data processing

7. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage data is retained for up to 2 years for analytics purposes. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover such information has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
